Our Glen Cove, Long Island facility is fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, automotive tools, and trained technicians to diagnose today's complex transmissions and automotive problems for you quickly and accurately. We use the latest electronic information systems such as ALLDATA that contains factory provided technical service bulletins, and factory recalls for your vehicle.

Our Transmission Department is overseen by Joe Alterio, Owner. Joe is an expert transmission specialist, and is highly regarded in the industry. In fact, Joe is the person some other transmission shops call on when they come across a difficult or problematic rebuild.
While we still remain a transmission specialist facility, due to customer demand we added general automotive repair.
Our general repair is overseen by Tom Jensen, ASE Certified Mechanic. Tom is also know as an expert in his field and has over 20 years hands on experience in the automotive repair field.
TRANS-PRO is also the only repair facility in the surrounding area that has a HawkEye State-of-the-Art High Definition Computerized Imaging Wheel Alignment Machine and technicians that are trained and qualified to perform this service.
